Need to get my theta numbers up in my options account.
STO GLD strangle May 18: STO 123 Put and STO 131 Call for a credit of 1.11 per contract
Will close at .67 or manage accordingly
I'm looking for trades that don't have earnings in the next few weeks. Trade earnings differently. To me risk is to the upside in GLD (but no one knows anything) so I'm scewed to the upside.

Look at the run TSLA has had the past few days and all the overhead resistance
High IV, but earnings in the middle between my sweet spot 45ish days out. so this is not a typical vol play since the vol won't come out until earnings. But I'm thinking it moves before then.
STO May 18 TSLA 360 calls for 4.98 per one lot
Will close at 2.99 or manage accordingly

Just closed the TSLA trade for 28% profit at 3.59 for a profit of 1.39 per one lot.
I did not expect this to happen. If you can get half of your target in a few days you take it. I did.

Two new trades to get theta back up, futures this time.
STO /ZS June 18 950 Put and 1150 Call for 7.125 per one lot
STO /ZW June 18 435 Put and 560 Call for 4.875 per one lot
Profit target is 40% of max profit or I'll manage accordingly

Just to clarify, when I say 40% of max profit I mean this: If you sell something for 1.00, I want .40 out of the trade. Maximum profit at expiration out of the money is 1.00. I don't want to hold to expiration and I want to take profits off the table.
