Limit order to add another 1000 shares of XIV at $105. ^VIX up 24% right now - mean reversion is almost a given.

I've had my ass handed to me on oil, Saudi's are pumping this IPO. Maintenance at some refineries and a pipeline break in Texas(I think) caused a drawdown. Don't know what to recommend at this point.

All my XIV systems are triggering SELL signals. Not in all open positions, but every system has at least one SELL and no BUY signals for tomorrow. Personally I think there will be a modest mean reversion and pump up in XIV price, at which time I'll close out this trade. No intention to carry this over the weekend.

XIV....same play we saw towards the end of Oct, for this to happen so quickly tells me very little commitment by buyers. My guess is we're in a topping pattern. Today we're at resis on 2-hr timeframe this is where the battle will take place, lets see how committed buyers are....glty

Out of XIV at $110.20 (average cost) in pre-market for a gain of $1187 after commissions. Could probably make more by holding but this was enough of a profit to take it off the table. No need to be greedy, especially when the futures are red.
